About
A tool we wished we had.
Threadseam is 11 people working from six timezones. We ship every Thursday and we eat our own dog food — every decision on this page was captured by Threadseam first.
Our story
In early 2025, Nadia and Marcus were both running engineering orgs where the real documentation was in Slack. Decisions got made in threads, fixes got shared in DMs, and nobody could find any of it two weeks later. New hires asked the same questions every month.
They had both tried every tool in the market. None of them handled consent well, redacted secrets reliably, or respected that private channels are private for a reason. So they built Threadseam.
Today Threadseam captures roughly 4,200 decisions a week across more than a hundred engineering teams. Our bar: nothing goes into the knowledge base that a human hasn’t signed off on, and nothing gets read without consent.

A 90-person engineering team told us they would pay to never answer “how do we deploy?” again.

Teams integration GA
Microsoft Teams joins Slack. 100+ paying teams across both platforms.
Team
Previously led platform engineering at a 2,000-person remote company. Tired of answering the same question for the fifth time.
Built two prior AI systems with strong consent models. Writes the hard parts of the private-channel flow.
Ran security review at a large fintech. Owns our SOC 2 program and vendor assessments.
Ships every Thursday. Thinks review queues are an underrated UX problem.
