Do unused seats count?
No. We bill monthly active users — anyone who opened the app or had a message captured in that calendar month.
Can I self-host?
Yes on Enterprise. We ship a Helm chart and support three major Kubernetes versions.
What about educational / non-profit?
We give the Team plan free to accredited universities and 501(c)(3) organisations. Email hello@threadseam.app.
Is there a free trial on paid plans?
14 days, no card. The Free plan stays free forever for teams up to 10.
